ABOUT the FILM PIX SCHOLARSHIP for ASPIRING FILMMAKERS

 'encouraging student filmmakers'

The Film Pix Scholarship for Aspiring Filmmakers is a unique program, benefiting Greater Saint John residents who pursue the art and craft of filmmaking at advanced levels, with a particular emphasis on youth, financial need, and established, industry recognized institutions.

The Film Pix Scholarship for Aspiring Filmmakers provides recipients a maximum of one thousand dollars ($1,000 cdn) toward their education through tuition support paid directly to the student's academic institution. Please note that the Scholarship is not transferable, nor is it redeemable for any other purpose.

Students are welcome to reapply each year of a continuing program. Through this approach, students may potentially access up to four thousand dollars ($4,000 cdn) over the term of a degree program, or up to one thousand dollars ($1,000 cdn) per school year for a diploma or certificate program.
