What... and Why...
Film Pix is a fully independent, community film experience, with screenings and more, renting screentime from Empire Theatres' Studio 10 Cinemas to present its movies (photos courtesy Empire Theatres Ltd).

Part of the Film Pix mandate is the creation and awarding of a scholarship-of-significance for a student enrolled in film studies at an accredited, established post-secondary institution.

Each event begins at 7:00 PM.
- Proceeds from the sale of individual tickets, season memberships (Pix Passes), and partial memberships (Mini Memberships) fund the scholarship, as do film sponsors.

Film Pix is a collaboration with Toronto International Film Festival Group's Film Circuit, the holder of a Peter F. Drucker Award for Canadian non-profit innovation.
Film Pix is the funding vehicle for a film scholarship for youth in Saint John.
