Pictures Plus is the exclusive, vendor for advance Film Pix tickets. Open Monday to Friday, 9 to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays, 9 to 5 PM, Pictures Plus welcomes Film Pix audience members at their Uptown location.

The Film Pix Scholarship for Aspiring Filmmakers

Film Pix takes place on the first Tuesday of most months.
A new-release film series, benefiting a film scholarship program for local youth, it launches a new season each Autumn, with amazing niche, feature-length films from around the world. The season continues into late Spring of the following year. A total of eight films make up a season.
And, because we only want the best for our audience, we book ahead only by one or two films, making sure we capitalize on changing release schedules, public sentiment, and reviewer/critic commentary.
And, because our programmer attends major festivals, undertakes extensive research, and maintains a network of directors, producers, distributors, festival personnel and others, Film Pix is able to hand pick the best films in the world and work closely with Film Circuit to book these films as they come to market, and, sometimes before! We love movies, and we love a happy audience!

Film Pix is the Funding Engine Behind a Film Scholarship for Greater Saint John Youth. It is a Locally Driven, Volunteer-Managed, Film-Based Series, with Monthly, New-Release 35mm Feature Films in a Cinema Setting, Periodic Special Guests, and More!
Through sponsorship support from the corporate community; box office proceeds from the movie-going public; the donation of periodic performances by amazing musical and other special guests; volunteer photographers, camera operators, and other technical staff; and, an enthusiastic team of movie night volunteers, a sustainable fund is building that will afford creatively minded local youth the chance to pursue their film interests at the college or university level.
